Weekend in London

“Do you want to go to London for the weekend?” This was the call that I received at work on a random Thursday afternoon. American Air had a last minute deal: Raleigh to London, direct, for $150. Why the hell not !

We did a super speedy tour of monuments, then hopped the Chunnel train to Paris for the night.

In London, we stayed at the Park Lane Hilton (on points). We got last minute theater tickets to Andrew Lloyd Webers “Jesus Christ Superstar”, but were both so tired we fell asleep. We also went to a garlic bar, where (you guessed it), absolutely everything featured lots and lots of garlic. Probably not the best idea the night before your flight home.
